9. Purchase rewritable CDs and DVDs so that you can reuse them from project to project.
10. Reuse your morning coffee cup. Or better yet, buy a mug to avoid the waste caused by throwing away the paper or Styrofoam.

How to Remove Scratches from Any DVD or CD

Hey guys, we're gonna be showing you how to remove scratches from any cd or dvd using toothpaste and a peanut butter and a couple other household ingredients. 

Things you'll need :

You’ll need diet soda ( must be sugar free) or seltzer water, and airtight container, baking soda, and a roll of paper towels. 

Let's Get To Work :

First, let’s get started by adding the toothpaste to the scratch side of your cd followed up with the peanut butter. Be sure to get it on there lliberally and after that we’re gonna buff out the scratches using our paper towel. Doesn’t have to be perfectly clean because we’re gonna be reapplying to get out the deeper scratches and to polish it.

So reapply the toothpaste after your first stuff and the peanut butter again and open up your container and place the cd inside your container. Now pour the soda on it and the baking soda on top of it, seal it up, give it a lot of shake and set it aside.

Time for Enjoyment! 

Now it’s a good time to clean up your work station and enjoy the rest of your delicious soda.

Alright, after few minutes open up the cd and polish it. It’s gonna be a little more difficult to polish off the toothpaste now because it got wet but it will be worth it when you see the polish and no scratches.

AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such as CloneDVD and CloneDVD mobile. You can also remove the RPC region code, thereby making the movie region free and viewable on any DVD player and with any DVD player software.
AnyDVD is capable of removing unwanted movie features, including subtitles and prohibition messages such as copyright and FBI warnings. It also allows you to launch an external application whenever you insert or remove a disc, or prevent 'PC-friendly' software from automatically launching when you insert a video DVD.

Decryption is not all that AnyDVD offers. You can control the drive speed of your DVD drive, allowing you to reduce the noise level when watching movies on your PC. You can even adjust the display frequency of your monitor for both NTSC and PAL displays.

But AnyDVD doesn't just stop at DVDs. It also decrypts protected audio CDs to allow you to copy them.

AnyDVD HD comes with same functionality as AnyDVD, but with additional features for full Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD support, including decryption of Blu-ray (BD+ and AACS) and HD DVD (AACS) movies.
